1 John 3:16 says: This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters."
This is a Blog about a young family striving for the example of Christ's love in our relationships. True love is a sacrifice and takes work! It's not about always making someone happy or being someone's friend. It's about loving someone enough to help them make the right choices. It's about loving at your own expense when it's not always deserved. It's the willingness to "lay down" our lives like the God of the universe did for us 2000 years ago. It's something this family is making a priority in our intimacy with God and His people.
